The City Club office hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The Club will be available to its members Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and, on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Club serves breakfast, lunch, and à la Carte dinner.
Bar & Grill
The Grill will be open for:
- FREE Breakfast: Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 10 a.m.
- NOTE: Alcoholic beverages not included. Offer limited to tables of 4 or less. For groups of 5, or more, reservations are recommended. For groups larger than 8 please contact Z for Private Event Reservations.
- Lunch: Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
- Please Note: No Reservations are required for Breakfast and Lunch
- Dinner: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Open Monday through Friday 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
- 2 for 1 Happy Hour - Monday - Friday from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.
- NOTE: 2-for-1 domestic and import beers, call mixed drinks and J. Lohr wine.
NOTE: No Reservations are required for Breakfast and Lunch. Casual attire is permitted in the Grill.
The Continental Room (Main Dining Room) is open from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Business casual for men and proper attire for women is required for service in the Continental Room unless otherwise specified. Reservations are recommended. Business Attire. Coat and tie are not required.
Veranda & Lounge
The Second Floor Veranda Room & Lounge are open from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Business casual attire is permitted for dining in the Veranda & Lounge. Should a private function be scheduled during these times, one of our private rooms will be available to the membership. Reservations are recommended. Business Attire. Coat and tie are not required.
Special Member Events
Members are invited to over a dozen special events per year. As an added value, the City Club of Baton Rouge hosts many events for members to enjoy. Among a few of these are themed dinners, dances, holiday parties, and many more.
Throughout the year, the City Club holds many special functions for its members such as The Spanish Town Parade block party, a Valentine’s Day dinner, an Easter and Mother’s Day brunch buffet, children's dinner with Santa, and a holiday musical performance. In addition, our monthly newsletter Veranda Views features other special City Club events such as themed dinners, special Chef's nights, and wine tasting dinners.
The Club provides special dining and networking events for Members throughout the course of the year such as winemakers dinners with Gary Farrell to create one-of-a-kind experiences. For a listing of events, see the calendar or the most recent newsletter.
Spouse & Partner Privileges
Full account use privileges for spouse or partner. Spouses of Resident members and children who are under the age of twenty-one, or under the age of twenty-five and attending school, and their guests are permitted the use of the entire club dining areas and all private rooms on the first floor. Children under the age of six years are not permitted in the Club, except for specific parties so noted.
All club entertainment shall be for members and guests of members only. Resident guests or persons living within a 25 air-mile radius of the City Club of Baton Rouge are entitled to the privileges of the Club only when accompanied by a Club Member.
The City Club is the perfect location to host your next private event. As a member, you will enjoy NO FACILITY FEES for hosting your special event, including:

NOTE: Members may sponsor friends, family and coworkers for private events at City Club of Baton Rouge.
