Join us for an engaging evening with LSU Press and New Orleans author Marielle Songy, featuring a memorable multi-course dinner and an intimate conversation celebrating the rich history and culture surrounding one of the Crescent City’s most beloved traditions: coffee.

Songy, author of Coffee Culture New Orleans, will share stories from her newly published book, tracing coffee’s journey through New Orleans—from its early days as a major port of coffee importation to the cafés, traditions, cultures, and local institutions that have made coffee an enduring part of the city’s identity.
