SAGRERA FARMS: Sagrera Farms is a family-owned Angus cattle farm in rural Ethel that traces its roots back to 1887. The farm is owned by Shawn and Kristi Sagrera, and Shawn is described as a fourth-generation cattle farmer with Spanish and French Louisiana heritage.
The farm focuses on raising premium Angus beef using a combination of traditional ranching practices and modern genetics. According to the farm’s history, Shawn’s great-grandfather, Dr. Raphael Sagrera, began the family cattle operation in Vermilion Parish in the late 19th century, and each generation has continued refining the herd and breeding program. >>> LEARN MORE
